Description
Tplink TL-SF1005P Network Switch Nigeria
Tplink TL-SF1005P Nigeria is a 5 10/100Mbps ports unmanaged switch that requires no configuration and provides 4 PoE (power over Ethernet) ports. It can automatically detect and supply power with all IEEE 802.3af Compliant powered devices (PDs). In this situation, the electrical power is transmitted along with data in one single cable allowing you to expand your network to where there are no power lines or outlets, where you wish to fix devices such as APs, IP cameras or IP phones, etc.
Tplink TL-SF1005P Nigeria Switch comes equipped with five 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet ports, four of which are 802.3af PoE-compliant. This means you can power a variety of PoE-compliant devices such as access points and IP phones directly from the switch, and with a power budget of up to 67W there is enough power to go around. Should connected devices exceed that power budget, this switch is capable of shutting power off to network ports starting with port 4. Once installed, connected clients can take advantage of bandwidth up to 1 Gb/s and a 2K Mac Address table to ensure optimal network performance.
Features
- 5× 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports
- 4× PoE+ ports transfer data and power on individual cables
- Works with IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PDs
- Supports PoE Power up to 30 W for each PoE port
- Supports PoE Power up to 67 W for all PoE ports*
- Up to 250m data and power transmitting range under Extend Mode**
- Priority Mode ensures high priority of ports 1–2 to guarantee the quality of sensitive application
- Plug and play with no configuration required
Power Overload Protection
When total power consumption exceeds 58W, the intelligent power management will turn off the lower priority port to ensure the high priority port’s power supply and protect the device from power overload.
Traffic Optimization for IPTV
IGMP Snooping optimizes multimedia traffic delivery, to ensure a better network experience especially for applications like IPTV.
Overload Arrangement
The Tplink TL-SF1005P Nigeria has the priority function which will help protect the system when power is overloaded. If all PoE PDs power consumption exceeds 67W, a priority will be arranged among the PoE ports and the system will cut off power to the lowest-priority port.
Port Priority Function
This function means that power to Port 4 will be cut off when total PoE PDs power consumption exceeds 67W. For an example, if Ports 1, 2 and 4 are using 15.4W each, total system power is 46.2W. If an additional 25W PD is connected to Port 3, the system will cut off PoE power to Port 4 because the total would exceed 67W.
Easy to Use
The Tplink TL-SF1005P Nigeria is easy to install and use. It requires no configuration and installation. With desktop design, enhanced performance, and quality, the TP-Link’s TL-SF1005P 5-Port 10/100 Mb/s Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE is an ideal choice for expanding your home or office network.
